Payment Information
Our checkout process requires
immediate payment which requires a credit card. Credit card payments are
processed through Google Checkout or PayPal. We never see your credit card
information. No account is required with PayPal. If you wish to make
payment by other means please select e-mail as your payment method and use the
comments box in checkout to let us
know when to expect your money order or cashiers check. We do not accept
personal checks. Payments
made without an order number and e-mail address attached will likely delay shipping of
your purchase.
WA residents must pay 8.3% sales tax
on the total sale including any shipping and handling.
Shipping Information
Our shipping and handling charges are some of the lowest on
the web for similar items.
At Blue Rose Video Games we strive
to have some of the best shipping rates and fastest shipping available.
For most items we use USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Shipping insurance is available for an additional charge by selecting the
appropriate checkbox at checkout. The insurance fee will be added to the
shipping total. If you choose not to insure your items you will be
accepting all risk associated with any items lost or stolen during shipping.
Priority Mail under 13 ounces may be shipped First Class at our option. We
may upgrade your shipping choice at our option. We may also substitute UPS
Ground for Parcel Post at our option. Signature confirmation, at our
expense, will be required on all orders over $250.
USPS Express Mail shipping is
available. However, due to the fact we are located on an Island, our post
office is two days from anywhere via Express Mail. In many cases Priority
Mail will arrive the same day or one day later for a significantly lower cost.
Every effort is made to ship items on the next business day after payment
confirmation. Please allow extra transit time
around postal holidays.
We will ship internationally. International shipping can be very expensive
and transit time is not predictable. Tracking numbers and insurance can
not be provided on international shipments without the additional cost of Global
Express Mail. Any import duties or customs fees that may be imposed by
your country are your responsibility.
The shipping
charge is calculated based on the estimated weight of the items in the shopping
cart. Once the checkout process is initiated a nominal handling charge is
added to the shipping amount. The minimum handling charge is $1.50.
The handling charge on a $50 order will range from $1.50 to $2.50. The
handling charge is used to help pay for delivery confirmation, packaging
materials and payment fees.
All of our smaller items are well
packaged in bubble mailers or boxes as appropriate. Larger items will
arrive well packaged in sturdy boxes with adequate packing materials. We
use new bubble mailers and boxes whenever possible. We reuse all of our
bubble wrap, packing peanuts and newspaper whenever possible.
Return Policy
We make every effort
to verify that everything that we sell is in good working condition unless
otherwise specified. If we make a mistake or misrepresent an item please
let us know within 10 days of receipt for a full replacement or refund.
All returned items must be returned postpaid with adequate packaging.
No returns will be accepted for credit without authorization. Please request an RMA#
for all returns. All items are sold as is unless specifically stated
otherwise.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Disputes
In the event a dispute arises between you and Blue Rose Video
Games, you and Blue Rose Video Games agree that any claim or controversy at law
or equity that arises out of this transaction shall be resolved by making a
claim to be adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Island
County, Washington. You and Blue Rose Video Games agree to submit to the
personal jurisdiction of the courts located within the county of Island,
Washington.
